Saint Paul’s San Pablo Episcopal Church is in the most under-resourced area of Houston. Church leader and Future of Medicine community partner, Reverend Edward Gomez, is concerned about the barriers to healthcare and health-related services in his community.
To help improve the health and wellness of members of his community, Rev. Ed recognizes that a more proactive approach is needed, specifically “coming to where people are at and meeting them where they’re at, in a comfortable environment, in a place that they know.”
It makes a world of difference for them. I’m really appreciative of Care Access.
By helping make Future of Medicine health screenings available at Saint Paul’s, Rev. Ed is doing his part to improve access to advanced health services that his community desperately needs. “It makes a world of difference for them,” he says. “I’m really appreciative of Care Access.”
