This Consumer Health Data Privacy policy is intended for residents of Washington, Connecticut, Texas and Nevada.
Personal Data We Collect and Use
Care Access collects certain data about you from your interactions with the website, including cookie ID, IP address, device identifiers or location information that, when combined with other tools, may reveal information about you and your health interests over time. This information may be used to provide you with additional information about health screenings, to provide you with information about research opportunities, for advertising our services, and to improve our services. This information may be shared with our advertising agencies or our affiliates, including Reify Health. Third-party advertising organizations may also collect information over time and across different websites when you use our website.
We Do Not Sell Your Personal Data
We do not sell your data. If you decide to participate in our programs or services and want to provide us with additional information, you will be asked for your permission to share your data before we do so. Please note that information you provide to us as part of a health screening or a research screening is subject to a different privacy policy.
You have the right to confirm whether we are collecting or sharing your information, the right to access and review certain of your data, the right to withdraw consent from collecting and sharing your consumer health information, the right to correct or delete certain data, and the right to opt out of certain uses of your data. We retain consumer health data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required by law. You may request deletion at any time.
You may exercise these rights by submitting a request to privacyofficer@careaccess.com, with your name, the nature of your request, and the state you reside in. We will need sufficient information from you to process your request. Once we have authenticated your request, we will respond within 45 days. If we are unable to honor your request for any reason, we will provide you with information explaining why. You may appeal any decision by the Care Access privacy team by submitting a request to legal@careaccess.com.
