Joe serves on the national board of the National Indian Youth Leadership Project and achieved recognition as a Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Vision Award recipient and Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow. As a freelance TV and film producer, his documentary on adolescent e-cigarette dangers aids middle school health education programs around the country.
