Ricky has summited Mt. Kilimanjaro (19,341 ft), hiked the Grand Canyon 3 times (Rim to Rim to Rim -48 miles), including a solo hike. He is also an ultra-runner who has completed 15+ ultras at 50K or longer.

  • Ricky organized and led a medical outreach trip to Arusha, Tanzania. His team collaborated with a local government hospital to provide comprehensive medical care, including obstetrics, surgery, and primary care, to the region's general population.

  • Ricky helped organize a health education and fitness event between Lincoln Memorial University and World's Strongest Man competitors to foster deeper connections between healthcare providers and the local community in New Tazwell, TN.

Meet Ricky, a passionate advocate for global healthcare access and education. As a doctor with a background in molecular genetics, Ricky's journey in healthcare and clinical research earned recognition as Student Doctor of the Year by his peers.

Ricky's passion for international medical outreach has taken him to countries around the world, including Belize, Tanzania, India, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, and Haiti. He prioritizes integrity, diligence, and building authentic relationships, fostering a collaborative environment for sustained success and mutual understanding.

Ricky is passionate about increasing healthcare access via innovative, community-based, patient-centric delivery models, whether those be locally, nationally, or internationally. His osteopathic medical training and global health experience provide a foundation for his current role and enable him to impact and improve healthcare delivery models for the future.
