StudyTeam is becoming StudyTeam by Care Access

Reflecting a closer collaboration across Care Access enterprises

StudyTeam by Care Access

BOSTON – Care Access is expanding how we help sponsors and sites overcome the challenges that can slow clinical research, like connecting them with the right participants, supporting site staff, and simplifying study conduct.

As part of that work, StudyTeam is becoming StudyTeam by Care Access, bringing its participant referral and recruitment management platform into the Care Access ecosystem of clinical research capabilities.

StudyTeam helps sites and sponsors connect more people with clinical research opportunities and manage recruitment activities more effectively. As StudyTeam by Care Access, the platform will work more seamlessly alongside Care Access capabilities including the Future of Medicine community health screenings, Central Clinical Services, Site Support Solutions, and AI-powered tools like Peter the Protocol Reader.

For sites and sponsors, this means easier access to a broader set of solutions through Care Access, connecting referrals, recruitment management, site support, and study execution to help comprehensively address end-to-end challenges across the clinical trial journey.

The StudyTeam platform and the people behind it aren’t changing. What is changing is how StudyTeam fits within Care Access and the broader and more extensive support that sites and sponsors can expect to receive.

StudyTeam by Care Access is another way clinical research is becoming more accessible and impactful for everyone.

Why is StudyTeam becoming part of Care Access?

As Care Access has expanded its portfolio of products and services, we’re simplifying how our partners and customers can access them. StudyTeam by Care Access reflects a closer alignment that will make it easier for sponsors, research sites, and partners to utilize the full range of solutions unified under the Care Access brand.

What does this change mean for StudyTeam users and customers?

While we have exciting new updates and capabilities planned for the platform, the team and our commitment to customer success remain unchanged. The new name reflects an expanded range of expertise, resources, and capabilities available through the broader Care Access organization for all StudyTeam users and customers.

How does StudyTeam fit within Care Access?

StudyTeam has long been part of the same family of organizations as Care Access through our shared parent company. Bringing the Care Access name into the brand reflects how our teams already work together to deliver more connected solutions for clinical research.

Why is Care Access building technology?

Care Access has been building technology since its inception over a decade ago and has been closely involved in the development of StudyTeam. We have launched a host of technologies, some of which are developed in house, to support our own unique opportunities. More importantly, Care Access believes in the type of innovation that benefits all, and is itself a user and proponent of all the possible tools available that could help support our colleagues, our customers, and the patients that we all strive to serve. Building unique technologies for ourselves and using broadly-adopted technologies for the industry are and have been part of our mission.

What makes StudyTeam by Care Access different?

StudyTeam by Care Access is designed by people who run clinical trials everyday, not just people who build software. We use our technology in our own research operations, refine it alongside our partners, and continuously improve it based on real-world results. Every solution is developed with compliance, security, and operational efficiency in mind.

What solutions does Care Access offer?

StudyTeam is part of a broader ecosystem of research solutions from Care Access, including the Future of Medicine community health screening program, Peter the Protocol Reader, Central Clinical Services, Site Support Solutions, new site development, clinical research awareness and educational programs, and mobile research capabilities. Together, these offerings support clinical research from participant recruitment through study execution and beyond.

How does AI fit into StudyTeam by Care Access ?

StudyTeam by Care Access includes AI-enabled capabilities, including Peter the Protocol Reader, that help research teams manage participant engagement, workflows, and data more efficiently while maintaining compliance and supporting a better clinical trial experience. Care Access has even more AI-enabled capabilities in development to help clinical research professionals do more without taking on additional risks.

Has Care Access’s mission changed?

No. In fact, this update reflects our growing commitment to our mission and not a change in purpose. Our eyes are set on improving clinical research operations for the whole industry so that new treatments and cures can reach the people who need them sooner.

Will the change happen all at once?

This will be a phased set of changes to ensure a smooth transition. We’ll share updates throughout the process so users know what is changing and when.

What is happening to the OneStudyTeam brand?

The OneStudyTeam brand is being retired as StudyTeam becomes a part of Care Access. The software will continue as StudyTeam® by Care Access and the teams that support StudyTeam customers and users will be partnering with the broader Care Access team to provide even better services and offerings.

You will gradually see the OneStudyTeam name and visual identity be replaced across communications, materials, and digital channels.
