    BOSTON – May 22, 2023 – Care Access, a leading global clinical research site, today announced the opening of its first permanent site location in Canada, in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Cape Breton is a historically underserved community in clinical trials, and this latest effort in Care Access’ mission to bring clinical research to hard-to-reach and underrepresented communities is the first step in Care Access’ goal to expand clinical trial access across the country.

    Care Access presented an exhibit highlighting the benefits of clinical trials and its latest innovations at the 2023 SXSW Conference in Austin, Texas. SXSW (pronounced South by Southwest or South by) is the largest multidisciplinary event in the United States. As leaders in the community-centric approach to clinical trials, we embraced this unique opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and amplify the need for healthcare to better reach the underserved.
