Dr. Michos is a cardiologist with an extensive background in clinical research on women's cardiovascular health, lipids, and cardiometabolic diseases. As an internationally-recognized expert, Dr. Michos is a sought-after speaker at medical conferences and scientific meetings around the world. She has published over 600 scientific papers in peer-reviewed medical journals in the fields of preventive cardiology and cardiovascular epidemiology.
Dr. Michos also holds several leadership positions, including Director of Women's Cardiovascular Health, Associate Director of Preventive Cardiology, and Co-Director of the Improving Participation Among diverse populations in Cardiovascular clinical Trials (IMPACT) Center at Johns Hopkins Medicine. Her work focuses on reducing cardiovascular health disparities in women and increasing diversity and representation in clinical research.

Dr. Loh's past academic appointments include preeminent institutions such as UCLA School of Medicine, Cedar-Sinai Medical Center, and Stanford Medicine. His widely recognized experience in clinical research has placed him in several leadership and advisory roles, including Chair of the Institutional Review Board and founder of the Bioethics Committee at HCA Los Robles Regional Medical Center.
Currently, Dr. Loh is a Senior Consultant/Principal Investigator for Care Access at our Thousand Oaks location. He directly manages cardiometabolic clinical trials available at this site, and he has recruited additional physician Principal Investigators to the site to run leading clinical trials in other therapeutic areas. Dr. Loh has formed partnerships with local community medical organizations to reach people who would otherwise not have access to trials, specifically focused on increasing access for the Hispanic community in the region.
He also did a TEDx talk on the rationale of randomized double-blind placebo controlled clinical trials.

Dr. Martin holds numerous leadership positions, including Director of the Advanced Lipid Disorders Program and Director of the Center for Mobile Technologies to Achieve Equity in Cardiovascular Health (mTECH) at Johns Hopkins Medicine. He is deeply involved in the development of digital health innovations that educate and engage patients in their health. As a committed advocate for equity in health and healthcare, he also mentors early-stage investigators helping to build a diverse research workforce.
