Olga, a Future of Medicine member now participating in a clinical trial, sees her involvement as a profound act of service for her family and for future generations.
“Research is your way to help yourself, your family, and all others around to possibly benefit from a life-saving drug or medication down the road that today isn’t available,” she says.
Though she acknowledges that not every participant may experience direct benefits, she emphasizes the bigger picture: “Don’t be afraid to be a part of medical research because, even though you may not get a direct impact or benefit from it, you will be impacting so many more lives.”
Joining a clinical trial is a powerful way for Olga to contribute to hope, progress, and the possibility of a better future for those affected by Alzheimer’s.
